The updated Tucson range was revealed in September and now we get our first glimpse of the hotter Tucson N Line.
Not a full-house, go-fast SUV, the Tucson N Line will be part of a massive N brand onslaught over the coming 12 months. Itโll include the arrival of the hot-shoe i20 N, the updated i30 N hatchback and the i30 Sedan N. Alongside will be updated N Line models, including i30 Sedan N Line, Kona N Line, Sonata N Line and Tucson N Line which will arrive in Australia next year (2021).
In its very brief announcement, Hyundai Australia said, this โThis leaves one N/N Line model still to be announced, making a total of eight models to be launched in Australia by the end of 2021โ. What this one extra model is remains to be seen, it could be a Venue N Line or even a Santa Fe…
Thereโs no word yet on what engine will be in the Tucson N Line but the rumour is that itโll run the same engine as the Sonata N Line.ย This is a 2.5-litre turbocharged GDi engine making 213kW and 422Nm of torque (1650-4000 rpm) and itโs likely to be mated to Hyundaiโs new eight-speed N automatic transmission.
The teaser images show off a lot of the exterior, like the N specific grille and bumper and you can see the N specific bumper and spoiler at the back too. Stay tuned for more details closer to the launch next year.
