All-New 2020 Isuzu D-Max Teased: 13th August Reveal

all-new 2020 Isuzu D-Max

The all-new 2020 Isuzu D-Max has been teased ahead of its official debut in Australia on the 13th August.

While weโ€™ve already seen its twin-under-the-skin Mazda BT-50 revealed, the Isuzu D-Max wonโ€™t be officially revealed in Australia until 13 August. Isuzu has said it will be revealed to the whole country via an online public launch and will be in dealerships from September.

Having already been released in Thailand, the plan was for the D-Max to arrive here sooner than August, but you can thank COVID for the delay.

While Isuzu is keeping details on Australian vehicles close to its chest we do know the engine is carried over from the old car but has copped a tweak or two to boost power and torque to 140kW and 450Nm of torque. Itโ€™s expected that all models in the range will feature advanced safety features and a more premium feeling cabin than ever before.

Accompanying its teaser image, Isuzu Ute Australia said, โ€œThe imagery released to date reveals a bold muscular demeanour; with a widened stance and brawny haunches further accentuating the lean body profile. Reminiscent of the companyโ€™s truck heritage over the years, the iconic Isuzu horizontal bar grille commands the front end, which is flanked by a pair of distinctively defining LED daytime driving lightsโ€”aggressively angled to complete the new lookโ€.
