The all-new Mazda BT-50 will go on-sale in Australia from October and Mazda has announced it will have a full suite of locally developed accessories.
Car makers are getting in on the accessories game and Mazdaโs all-new BT-50 will arrive with a full suite of locally-developed accessories, according to Mazda. With Mazda a month or so behind the release of the twin-under-the-skin Isuzu D-Max itโs hoping its accessories range will tempt buyers, saying the commercial vehicle segment is of vital importance to the brand.
โThe commercial vehicle segment is of vital importance to Mazda Australia, and a strong accessories offer brings further customer personalisation opportunities,โ said Vinesh Bhindi, Managing Director of Mazda Australia.
โWith an extensive Mazda Genuine Accessories range available from launch, the new BT-50 can be tailored to suit the job at hand, whether at work or play,โ Mr Bhindi said.
Mazda said there will be more than 100 accessories available to buyers, with its local design and engineering team developing the new bullbar for the BT-50. Mazda is calling it the โQueensland Barโ and claims itโs designed to suit heavy-duty applications.
โFrom the design stage Mazda Australiaโs engineers ensured the bullbar would seamlessly integrate with vital safety technologies such as crumple zones, airbags and the comprehensive Advanced Driver Assistance Systems that are Brand-New Mazda BT-50 hallmarks. Front parking sensors (where equipped) also remain fully operational,โ Mazda said. The bull bar has mounting points for driving lights.
Mazda will also be offering a range of different wheel designs, side steps, sports bars and even platform style roof racks.
