Manthey-Racing Cayman GT4 Clubman

Considered the most successful Porsche racing team in the universe, Manthey-Racing’s released its trackday-ready Cayman GT4 Clubsport. Woof.

Yes, please. The world might still be in the grips of a pandemic but that hasn’t stopped the spanner twirlers at Manthey-Racing turning out this ripper. Meet the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubman, and we want one.

And this is the second vehicle MR has released this year, with the 911 GT3 RS MR revealed in August. The GT4 Clubman is just about ready for production, and boasts a bunch of carbon-fibre and other weight-saving equipment (bringing the weight down by 46kg), and more safety gear too.

The engine (3.8L flat-six), brakes and suspension have been left alone, as this intended more for trackday work than out and out racing. You get new lightweight bumpers front and rear, carbon-fibre wings with lightweight headlights, a lighter battery, and a polycarbonate windscreen. And those Manthey-Racing BBS wheels.

“With the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport “Trackday” MR it is possible to gain racetrack experience within a very short time, as it is as close to series production as possible, but at the same time very compatible with the racetrack. The weight reduction and the resulting optimised power-to-weight ratio should make the model even more attractive for our customers”, said Nicolas Raeder, Managing Director of Manthey-Racing GmbH.

Want one? It’ll cost you € 149,900.00 (net) ex works.
