Far Out…it’s the Jeep Gladiator Farout Concept

The Jeep Gladiator Farout Concept was meant to be the star of the show at the Moab Easter Jeep Safari back in April…but, coronavirus.

The Jeep Gladiator Farout Concept was meant to herald the 3.0-litre V6 EcoDiesel being plonked into the Gladiator. It was meant to woo the Jeep faithful at Moab but coronavirus stepped in and buggered that up.

Besides the engine, the key features of this thing are the roof top tent which can sleep up to four people, its ‘Earl’ body colour, two-inch lift, 17-inch wheels wrapped in 37s, modified steel bumper holding a Warn winch, custom front and rear rock rails and FOX shocks. There’s an integrated roof rack up top too.

On the inside, there’s a wood-lined interior, fridge and stove, storage racks and leather seats with orange contrast stitching and plaid flannel inserts.

“Although we didn’t get to celebrate in Moab this year with our latest round of concept vehicles, we’re pleased to introduce the Jeep Farout concept today as a vehicle that blends Gladiator EcoDiesel’s fuel efficiency with an area of features fans of overlanding will love,” said Jim Morrison, Head of Jeep Brand – FCA North America.
