Jaguar 3.8L XK engine block

If youโ€™ve got an old Jaguar XK or even E-Type and have been hunting around for a new engine block, well, your search is over.

Jaguar Classic has reintroduced the brandโ€™s famous 3.8-litre XK engine block – itโ€™s been unavailable new for almost 50 years. The 3.8L XK block powered Jaguar in the 1950s and โ€˜60s, and even appeared in the Series I and II E-Type.

โ€œRecreated to exact original specifications the brand-new cast iron engine block is a direct replacement for the 3.8-litre six-cylinder units originally fitted to the XK150, XK150 S, MkIX, Mk2, MkX, E-type Series 1 and S-type,โ€ Jaguar Classic said.

The engine blocks will only be available to vehicle owners who can opt to have the original serial number from the engine block stamped onto the new one with an asterix denoting the new block is a replacement.

They aint cheap. New 3.8-litre Jaguar XK engine blocks are priced $25,000 each, and come with a minimum 12 months Jaguar parts and accessories warranty and certificate of authenticity, exclusively from Jaguar Classic.
