Ken Block hoons the Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400

Finally. The master of hoonery, Ken Block has been allowed to cut loose in the Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400. Watch thisโ€ฆ

The Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400 broke cover last week and itโ€™s insane. With stupid amounts of power and torque and a ridiculous seven motors it can be adjusted for drag racing, drifting and more.

In its press kit, Ford teased us with drift shots but Ken Block and Vaughn Gittin Jr were let loose in the thing and the result looks like a whole lot of fun.

โ€œGetting behind the wheel of this car has completely changed my perspective on what power and torque can be,โ€ said Vaughn Gittin Jr., RTR Vehicles founder. โ€œThis experience is like nothing youโ€™ve ever imagined, except for maybe a magnetic roller coaster.โ€

So, the seven motors. Three are attached to the front differential and four are attached to the rear in pancake style, with a single driveshaft connecting them to the differentials. The aero package takes its cues from race cars, and the drivetrain layout can be tweaked from front, to rear to all-wheel drive depending on what Ford wants to study. Yep, this thing is a test bed.

But, enough blather…check out the video.
