Off-road accessories brand Saber Offroad has launched its Shackles for a Cause to raise money for several charities.
Show your colours and support a bunch of worthwhile charities with the launch of Saber Offroad’s Shackles for a Cause charity drive. Available via its brand-new website, Saber Offroad is giving punters the chance to buy a coloured soft shackle and support one of three charities with 20% of proceeds going to the designated charity.
In a statement released today, Saber Offroad founder and director Ben Bartlett said the idea for the charity drive came from his fellow director Stephen Hanbury. โWhen Steve [company director] joined Saber Offroad, he raised the idea of creating a Blue Soft Shackle to raise money for Autism, and with both of us having kids on the spectrum, we moved immediately towards making it happen.โ
Going one step further, Saber Offroad has partnered with the Lyrebird Foundation (blue shackle) a new school offering support for children with an Autism-spectrum disorder, the Brain Foundation (purple shackle) which is a world-leader in brain disorder research, and Childhood Cancer Support (pink shackle) which is a not-for-profit agency supporting children and their families affected by childhood cancer.
The Shackles for a Cause soft shackles are available to order now and priced at $55 per single shackle. And these things aren’t for show, Saber Offroad said they’re rated to 14,700kg and constructed from its SaberProโข Fibre. Unlike some brands, Saber Offroad told MotoFomo all its products are destruction tested in Australian NATA accredited labs for strength and durability.
