Nissan reveals its new Navara Pro-4X to go head-to-head with HiLux and Ranger, and itโll get the Warrior treatment too.
Meet Nissanโs new top-spec Navara Pro-4X. Replacing the Navara N-Trek variant, the updated Nissan Navara has been revealed today via virtual presentations around the world. Read more about it by clicking on these Blue Words.
The Pro-4X will arrive Down Under early next year along with the rest of the updated Navara range. And while suspension and the engine, transmissions etc have been left alone, it gets plenty of active safety features and some good off-road ready accessories.
Letโs get the cosmetic stuff out of the way first. It gets a black emblem, orange-accented front bumper, black grille, door handles, roof racks and running boards along with 17-inch black wheels and all-terrain tyres. In addition to the cosmetic stuff, thereโs a factory snorkel being offered, roof platform, bull bar and bull bar with winch, and underbody protection.
Full details and pricing will be released closer to the local launch early next year but in its presentation today Nissan Australia said the new Pro-4X was undergoing design study work with Premcar and will likely form the basis of the next-generation Navara Warrior. The fact, the Pro-4X gets a bullbar with a winch is good news because, in this writerโs opinion, the fact the Warriorโs front bar couldnโt handle a winch was a big let down. Fingers crossed that Premcar goes a little harder with suspension work.
Let us know what you think of the new Navara Pro-4X. See you in the comments.
